Deuces is "that song". The cliche song about my first love. I like to think I add my own little spice to it though so it's not AS cliche. This song is actually very dear to my heart. The man who this song is about was the first and only man I have felt true love for as well as felt it returned. Long story short, it didn't last. I was young, he was going off to the military. I didn't believe in long-distance, and he wanted forever. In the end I broke both of our hearts. So the little secret about this song is I was not writing deuces to him in it, I was writing deuces to love in general.
